Square1Paragliding offers South Africa’s only fully adaptive paragliding experience in Cape Town for individuals with disabilities. Unlike other companies using regular harnesses that require participants to stand or walk, which can be uncomfortable and unsafe, especially as ground crew assist during launch, square1paragliding uses a specially designed and certified wheelchair made from aircraft-grade aluminum. This wheelchair allows for a completely safe launch, with the instructor having full control over the process. No personal space is invaded, and the roll-cage structure ensures maximum safety throughout the entire flight.
The transfer from a personal wheelchair to the flying chair is seamless and secure, providing a smooth, stress-free experience. With Square1Paragliding’s adaptive wheelchair, individuals with limited mobility can enjoy paragliding without the risks posed by traditional harnesses, setting new safety standards in adaptive flying.

Cancellation Policy
• If weather conditions require us to cancel your paragliding booking for safety reasons and you are unable to reschedule, no booking or administration fee will be charged when processing refunds.
• Please book at least 48 hours in advance to confirm weather conditions and availability. Purchases made less than 48 hours in advance may still incur a booking fee.
• In the event of a no-show or if you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled booking, a 100% cancellation fee may be applied.
• Flight durations can vary due to weather conditions, and delays, postponements, rescheduling, or cancellations may occur for safety reasons. This is determined at the discretion of Square1paragliding, its management, and owners.
• Square1paragliding, its owners, and management are not responsible for any loss or damage to the personal property of clients.
• All participants are required to sign an indemnity form before engaging in the activity.
• Any flights that are delayed, postponed, or rescheduled may be rescheduled free of charge within a 12-month period.
• For cancellations made between 15 days and 48 hours prior to the booking, a 15% cancellation fee may apply.
• Purchasing a tandem flight does not confirm your specific time and date. We will finalize the location, date, and time with you through the contact details provided (email or WhatsApp).
• Refunds will be processed automatically to the original payment method. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take up to 7 days to reflect the refund. If after 7 days it does not appear, contact us at info@square1paragliding.co.za.
